I would like to share an opening at Ecole Polytechnique for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Computational Physics and Artificial Intelligence.
This is an excellent opportunity for researchers working at the interface of computational physics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. The successful candidate will develop an independent research program in one of the laboratories of the Physics Department, with strong interactions with applied mathematics and/or computer science. The position is also connected to the Hi! Paris interdisciplinary center.
The recruited person is expected to contribute to teaching across the Bachelor’s, Engineering, and Master’s programs, including the computational physics curriculum, and to help strengthen interdisciplinary teaching and research activities. Depending on their expertise, they will be integrated into the most relevant laboratory of the department. The position also comes with a reduced teaching load, a competitive salary, and a startup package.
